Overview
Annual giving leaders today are facing many challenges and a continuously changing landscape. New technology, staff turnover, economic uncertainty, and many other issues sit front and center as annual giving program leaders tackle the ongoing tasks of running their programs, engaging donors, and generating annual support for their institutions. But you don’t need to go it alone!
Join us on Tuesday, October 29th for an interactive online Annual Giving Directors Forum which will provide leaders (and rising leaders!) with a platform for planning their efforts, benchmarking their progress, and addressing the most pressing issues facing annual giving programs today. Participants will have an opportunity to:
- Meet annual giving program leaders (and rising leaders!) from similar institutions
- Share and discuss goals, progress, obstacles, and opportunities
- Find out how other organizations approach their work and solve problems
- Identify new ideas to help improve your strategies and achieve your goals
- And more
AGN Member institutions receive 1 FREE registration to this event plus significant discounts to register additional staff. Non-members who wish to attend may do so and can apply their registration fee as a credit if they wish to become an AGN Member within 30 days after the event.

Hear from Dan Allenby, AGN’s President & Founder, about the state of industry and some of the issues and opportunities facing educational institutions and their annual giving programs today.
12:00pm - Group Discussion 1: Cohorts
Meet in a small group with others from similar organizations to discuss the goals you're setting, the progress you’re making, and the challenges you're facing. Hear from others and exchange ideas to help improve your efforts.
1:30pm - Break (30 minutes)
2:00pm - Group Discussion 2: Topics
Meet in a small group to discuss an important issue facing your program today. Topics will be determined based on input from participants and selected in advance.
3:30pm - Group Discussion 3: Faculty
Hear key takeaways, lessons learned, and final words of advice from industry experts.

Dan Allenby
Greg Knedler
With more than 25 years of experience in annual giving and educational fundraising, Greg has led programs at Troy University, the Air Force Academy Foundation, Georgia State University, and Auburn University. His other experience includes consultant work with K-12 private and charter schools. He holds a B.S in Marketing and an M.Ed. in Marketing Education, both from Auburn University.
Gina Fiorillo
Gina has over 20 years of experience in annual giving and educational fundraising. She currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Annual Giving at New York University and has previously led programs at Rutgers University, Kean University, and Douglass College. She holds a B.A. in English from Douglass College and an M.P.A. from the School of Public Affairs & Administration at Rutgers University.
Erin Glidden
With more than 15 years of experience in fundraising and development, Erin Glidden responsible for providing analysis of the intuition’s donor base and pipeline. She has led programs at the South Dakota State University Foundation and the Mid-America Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Her other experience includes marketing and sports communication. She holds a B.B.A. and a certificate in entrepreneurship and marketing management from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
Adam Bradley
Adam has over 10 years of experience in annual giving and educational fundraising. He currently serves as Senior Director Of Annual Giving at the University of Michigan, and has previously led research and recruiting efforts at Qualigence International. He holds a B.B.A. in Marketing and a certificate in strategic leadership from the University of Michigan.
Megan Poole
With over 10 years of experience in education and fundraising, Megan has led annual giving and direct marketing programs at the University of Virginia and the University of Florida. Her other experience includes work as a college writing instructor and a high school English teacher. She holds a B.A. in English from Wesleyan College and an M.A. in English from Syracuse University.
Mae Parker
Mae has more than 18 years of experience in annual giving and educational fundraising, Mae Parker serves as Executive Director of Development, College of Education at the University of Iowa. She previously led programs at Grinnell College and Earlham College. Mae holds a B.A. in Business and Nonprofit Management from Earlham College and an M.A. in Executive Development for Public Service from Ball State University. She received a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University.
Gloria Goosby
Gloria has over 15 years of experience in annual giving and educational fundraising. She has previously led programs at Furman University, Georgia Southern University. Her other experience includes work with the Southeast Annual Giving Conference Committee and the Statesboro-Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce. She holds a B.S. in Broadcasting from Georgia Southern University.
Michael O'Brien
With over 13 years experience in annual giving and alumni affairs, Michael O’Brien has led programs at Wheaton College, Buckingham Browne & Nichols School ("BB&N") and Boston College High School. Michael’s other experience includes admissions, teaching, college counseling and international programs prior to working in development. Mike holds degrees from Boston College’s Lynch School of Education and Hobart & William Smith Colleges where he was a four-year member and team captain of Hobart’s lacrosse team.
Megan Rajski
With over 12 years of experience in education and annual giving, Megan has led annual giving and donor participation programs at Fairfield University and the University of Chicago. Her other experience includes work in admissions and direct marketing. She holds a B.F.A. in Communications from Valparaiso University and an M.B.A. from University of Phoenix.
Meredith Johnston
With over 20 years of experience in annual giving and educational fundraising, Meredith has led programs at Scripps Research, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, and Oklahoma State University. Her other experience includes leading teams through change, developing and leading comprehensive campaigns, and building strong teams while nurturing talent. She holds a B.A. in Literature from the University of North Texas.
Terence Bodak
With more than 15 years of experience in annual giving and educational fundraising, Terence has led programs at Rutgers University Foundation and Monmouth University. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in European History, both from Monmouth University.
