In 2024, Colorado State University tested moving our Day of Giving to the fall. Leveraging the energy of move-in day and a new semester, our theme was Tag, You're In! Collateral emphasized the ability to participate digitally, playing on "tag" as a physical/nostalgic game and a digital action. Additionally, we shortened our typical email solicitation window to two weeks from four, and simplified our segmentation to only four segments. Student engagement focused on sharing the impact of philanthropy with on-campus activations. This was our most successful Giving Day ever, with both a higher number of donors and higher revenue than we have achieved before.
