| Description | The Students First: Champion Greatness campaign was a targeted four-week fundraising initiative aimed at engaging staff and faculty at MacEwan University. The purpose of the campaign was to raise critical funds for scholarships, awards, and bursaries, with a particular focus on supporting equity-deserving students. A unique aspect of this campaign was its Team Captain approach—the university was divided into teams, each led by a captain who used personal engagement strategies, such as sharing their own reasons for donating and sending encouraging messages. This approach fostered friendly competition, with regular updates highlighting the top five teams in terms of donor participation. Combined with powerful student stories, the campaign created a sense of community and collective impact that led to widespread support. |
