The July Thank You card is the annual soft launch of CSU's fiscal year solicitation calendar. Targeting recently lapsed loyal donors, for the last two years we have also included a leadership annual giving segment, providing LAG donors with a second opportunity to respond to a direct mail campaign (they are also typically solicited in late November). Our donor "gift" this year was a set of three custom postcards celebrating the history of CSU with vintage imagery from our Library archives. This piece has performed well, with the average gift amount ~55% higher than other direct mail pieces, and significant positive feedback about the artwork and gift.
