This is an impact report centered on the results of a specific fundraiser in the farming community, Cultivating a Cure, which supports funds at Ohio State at the OSUCCC - James and the College of Food and Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. The researchers who use these funds work on interdisciplinary teams to study the links between food and cancer, including foods with cancer-fighting properties. Cultivating a Cure is a relatively longstanding event so there are a lot of projects to cover.
