This was a Fall solicitation appeal letter to parents of current students. It was signed by co-chairs of the Parent and Family Council, who have a son attending SU. It also featured a quote and photo from their son. I think it's unique because it is quite the ask to ask parents who are already paying tuition to further support the school financially, but the student services at Seattle University are unique, important and worthy of that investment. We tried to emphasize parents as an integral part of the community because they are. Process for the letter was an interview with the signers, drafting of the letter by me, review/suggestions from signers, and final review by the Director of Annual Giving.
