Assistant Director, Leadership Annual Giving

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our Advancement & Partnerships team as the Assistant Director for Leadership Annual Giving. This pivotal role will contribute to the growth of mid-level giving and help build philanthropic capacity for the College of Business. The Assistant Director will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding leadership-level annual gifts, as well as managing a portfolio of donors and identifying new prospects. 

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward leadership-level annual gifts.
  • Conduct face-to-face visits with leadership annual giving donors and prospects.
  • Manage a portfolio of at least 75 donors, building relationships through outreach and face-to-face meetings to deepen their affinity for the College of Business and increase their philanthropic support.
  • Identify and engage new prospects through strategic discovery processes to expand the leadership donor base.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share donor stories, develop annual and long-term strategic fundraising goals, and promote funding opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of touchpoints for donor cultivation and stewardship.
  • Assist in the recruitment of volunteer leaders for the Dean’s Advisory Board.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.  Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Nonprofit or fundraising experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Experience in leadership annual giving or mid-level giving programs.
  • Familiarity with fundraising databases and donor management software such as Blackbaud CRM, Raiser’s Edge NXT, or Salesforce.
  • Proven success in identifying, cultivating, and securing leadership-level gifts.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in collaborating across departments or teams to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Knowledge of UCF’s mission and values, with a passion for higher education and its role in shaping communities.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $56,030- $68,637. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
