Manage a team of two development staff members: the Director of Alumnae and Parent Relations and the Database and Advancement Services Manager

Working with the Director of Alumnae and Parent Relations to develop and implement a comprehensive annual fund program, driving parent and alumnae engagement. Plan strategy for donor stewardship with the Vice President of Advancement, which the Database and Advancement Services Manager will support

Serving as the Campaign Manager for a future capital campaign, you will do the following:

  • Oversee the tracking, monitoring, and reporting of all campaign cultivation and solicitation efforts
  • Support the campaign fundraising efforts of the President, Vice President for Advancement, and the Campaign Steering Committee
  • Oversee Database Manager and Advancement Services research efforts on campaign donors to create comprehensive profiles and briefing memos in partnership with the Vice President of Advancement 

Manage a portfolio of 50-75 active prospects and donors with the capacity, inclination, or history to make a substantial gift ($1,000+) supporting operations and Regina Dominican’s strategic fundraising priorities, including a future campaign

Manage a level of activity that generates 5-10 face-to-face visits per month, leading to growth in the number of annual and major gift solicitations

Participate in all aspects of the gift cycle:

  • Develop appropriate cultivation strategies for each donor
  • Move potential donors in an appropriate time frame toward solicitation and closure
  • Work with the President, Vice President of Advancement and Advancement team, Board of Directors, and volunteers 

Focus on effective communication and solicitation activities by phone, mail, social media, and email (in partnership with the Vice President for Growth 

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum of four to six years of successful development experience. 
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills. Able to effectively communicate the mission of the school 
  • Track record of cultivating and securing major and planned gifts 
  • Experience in managing employees 
  • Proficient in Blackbaud Raisers Edge/NXT, MS Office, and Google platform. Experience with giving day, event management, and email marketing platforms 

Salary and Benefits 

$65,000 

Vacation and Sick Leave: 

  • Ten days of paid vacation annually
  • Twelve paid sick days per year
  • In addition to those days, we offer a reduced summer schedule and time off for the holidays and spring break
