Senior Director of Alumni Relations

The Senior Director of Alumni Relations will serve as a senior level leader and administrator for the Alumni Relations team. The Senior Director will be responsible for the oversight, vision, and to provide a plan for strategic growth of the program to be executed by the staff. The Senior Director will be responsible for developing new programming opportunities for engagement of all alumni, family, and friends. The position will collaborate with, manage, and supervise an Engagement Coordinator in carrying out these efforts.

The Senior Director will oversee and execute specific events for the Office of Alumni Relations. They will manage a portfolio of high-level engagement prospects for the purpose of future philanthropic support. Lastly, the Senior Director will assist the Executive Director of Alumni Relations with the management of the Alumni Board.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least eight (8) years of work in development, advancement, engagement, alumni relations, sales, service, or other experience in a philanthropic setting
  • Supervisory and management experience related to holding teams accountable to goals
