The Georgia Tech Alumni Association is seeking a Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Coordinator to engage alumni and friends to serve as volunteer fundraisers in support of Georgia Tech’s annual fund, known as Roll Call. The Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Coordinator reports to the Manager of Leadership and Volunteer Giving and is responsible for the identification, recruitment, training, and support of fundraising volunteers. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, metrics-driven individual responsible for executing effective volunteer fundraising efforts and ensuring the proper function of GiveCampus, the volunteer management system. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of fundraising best practices and have strong interpersonal, customer service, and communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, coach, and support fundraising volunteers for Giving Tuesday, Georgia Tech Giving Day, and ongoing peer-to-peer fundraising efforts
  • Establish procedures for volunteer recruitment and onboarding to ensure their success
  • Create and deliver training that highlights role expectations, values, and tools needed to engage, solicit, and steward alumni
  • Develop and nurture lasting relationships with fundraising volunteers
  • Coordinate volunteer management software through GiveCampus and ensure the system’s proper functioning and timely updates
  • Routinely gather volunteer feedback to assess and enhance volunteer program and platform
  • Develop and execute an effective volunteer fundraising strategy and system to raise dollars and drive alumni participation
  • Utilize tools in Blackbaud CRM to track volunteer activity and communication touchpoints
  • Institute a volunteer stewardship and recognition process to celebrate and retain volunteer talent
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and provide and maintain safeguards for volunteers to do the same
  • Assist in stewardship activities and events for Roll Call donors
  • Support overall Roll Call goals and initiatives and meet program dollar and donor goals

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; 2+ years of experience in higher education or non-profit volunteer fundraising coordination
  • Detail oriented with strong time and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with volunteers
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Blackbaud or other CRM systems
  • Knowledge of GiveCampus or other volunteer management systems
  • Position will require occasional evening and weekend hours
