Assistant/Associate Director of Annual Giving

Burlington, VTEssential Functions:
40% Develop, write, and send annual giving solicitations for the Annual Giving Office at the UVM Foundation. Help to create, coordinate, and execute these solicitations through multiple communication channels (mail, email, text, and social media). Write, edit, and proof content for annual giving fundraising materials, campaigns, and communications. Work with the Executive Director of Annual Giving to create annual solicitation goals and metrics.
40% Work with Foundation and campus partners on targeted fundraising solicitations to a variety of UVM constituents. Projects will include leading strategy discussions, developing of content and materials, coordinating the timing of solicitations, and keeping the projects on-time and up-to-date.
15% Develop new or enhanced skills in one or more of the following areas to expand and improve our work: (1) graphic design, (2) data mining and segmentation, (3) video production and editing, (4) frontline fundraising.
5% Other duties as assigned
Specific standards of performance will be captured as metrics in an annual business plan.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and some professional or personal experience in fundraising, communications, and/or direct marketing.
Salary Range: $55,000 – $72,000 per year
