Culver-Stockton College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Vice President for Advancement and Marketing (VPAM).  The VPAM is a member of the President’s Senior Leadership Group and provides leadership and support to all aspects of development, alumni relations, public relations and marketing.  The VPAM will build the external financial support necessary for sustaining and advancing the College’s mission and goals and will have a significant role in strategic planning and administrative leadership.  The VPAM will work closely with the President and Senior Leadership to create and maintain a consistent vision and identity for the College to external and internal audiences, including donors and alumni.  This position will direct and coordinate the Advancement and Marketing Offices in strategic planning for capital and alumni campaigns, donor relations, marketing, and community relationships.  The VPAM will travel frequently for the College and must have affinity with the mission and values of Culver-Stockton College.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree is required and an advanced degree and experience in higher education is preferred.  Qualified candidates will have ten or more years of experience in development, marketing, public relations, and/or fundraising, preferably in private higher education and will have a proven track record of leading and managing successful advancement programs, preferably in higher education, including successful capital campaigns, along with sound judgment, impeccable integrity, demonstrated initiative, and the attitude and personality to work effectively with advancement colleagues, C-SC senior administrators, board members, alumni association members, faculty and staff members, volunteers, and other constituents.
