Job Summary

Under administrative direction, manages School of Medicine fundraising efforts with a focus on major gifts, faculty, former residents, alumni, and friends – primarily from the St. Louis and surrounding areas. The position develops strategies for engagement and solicits gifts in support of School of Medicine program and research priorities.

Job Duties

  • Develops strategies and tactics to successfully identify, engage, solicit and steward donor groups (faculty, former residents, alumni, friends) in support of the School of Medicine, departmental (or institute) priorities by working collaboratively with Development Leadership and the School of Medicine.
  • Manages a portfolio of School of Medicine donors to be cultivated for continued support and major gifts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with three to five (3-5) years of related work experience.
