Executive Director Annual Giving
The West Virginia University Foundation, Inc., the fundraising arm of WVU, is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Director of Annual Giving. Along with managing the two Annual Giving team members, the Director will work as part of a team to provide fundraising support for assigned WVU units in the following areas:
- Liaison with Vendors
- Day of Giving • Call Center
- Crowdfunding • Web Presence
- Event Management • Peer-to-Peer Fundraising
- E-Commerce • Faculty/Staff Campaign
- Student Philanthropy • Recurring Giving
- Special Initiatives
The Annual Giving program focuses on hard mailing and electronic solicitations up to $50,000, with particular emphasis on solicitations up to $10,000. The program’s goal is to build a growing cohort of annual donors across all constituent types that funds the University’s discretionary needs and feeds the Leadership Annual Giving program and, ultimately, the Major Gift program.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience or a similar combination of education and related experience required, including experience supervising other staff.
